Does Dr. Mayme Neher work throughout Germany?
Yes. The office is in Düsseldorf and enquiries are possible throughout Germany. Many assignments begin digitally with photos, dimensions and available documents. Depending on the question, an original inspection in Düsseldorf or an on-site appointment may follow.
When is an on-site appointment necessary?
An on-site appointment is often useful for estates, collections, damage cases, several works, difficult hanging situations or when transport to the studio is not practical. Travel is agreed according to scope, urgency and effort.
Can an initial assessment be made from photos?
Photos can allow an initial orientation, especially if front, back, signature, labels, damage, dimensions and documents are available. A reliable written appraisal usually requires inspection of the original.
When do I need a written appraisal?
A written appraisal is useful when a value must be explained for an estate, insurance, sale, division of assets or a legal question.
